Bought it in blue and it's a stellar base. Fits my B2 V3 with the diffuser on no problem, though I needed to use a slightly larger grommet, but it fits perfectly with it. There's two different styles of gold; one matte and one extremely shiny. You can see on the bottom of the base that there are slight deformations from it being made, which is not a negative but oddly satisfying to see and know it was hand made. Definitely my favorite base as of right now.
