I’ve been using the Xkah for about four months now (ordered in November 2025 and received in early December), and I can confidently say this represents the future direction of the hookah industry.
From my experience, the performance has been excellent. I’ve almost completely transitioned away from traditional coal setups for everyday sessions. The consistency, convenience, and overall experience have been impressive, and it has become my primary setup.
That said, there is a learning curve—especially when it comes to temperature control. Your results will vary depending on the type of shisha you’re using (dark leaf, blonde, or blends), and dialing in the right heat settings takes some experimentation. This isn’t a plug-and-play device in the traditional sense—it requires a bit of understanding, much like managing heat with coals.
I think many of the negative reviews stem from users giving up too quickly without taking the time to learn the system. Once you understand how to work with it, the results are outstanding.
For anyone getting started, I highly recommend watching MOA’s video guide. It provides a great foundation. Personally, I follow about 80–85% of his approach and then adjust based on my own preferences and setup.
Overall, the Xkah has been a game-changer for me. It’s modern, efficient, and once mastered, delivers an excellent session every time. Highly recommended for anyone willing to invest a little time into learning how to use it properly.
